No one wants to spend time in the hospital over the holidays, but we can bring a little cheer to the patients and staff who do, by lighting up the hospital! From November 20 - December 22, for a minimum donation of $10, you can sponsor an ornament on a tree or wreath displayed in the hospital over the holiday season. All donations of $20 or more are eligible to receive an official charitable tax receipt. 

Many thanks to our friends at Scotiabank in Mount Forest. This year, they will be generously matching the total funds raised through donations received at their branch for this fundraiser, up to $3000.

 All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support the priority equipment needs of Louise Marshall Hospital.

We are so pleased to share that the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation raised more than $135,000 at our 3rd Annual Gala, Tuxedos & Tiaras. It is only with the incredible generosity of our community that we were able to raise these funds in support of Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest.  It takes a village to put on an event like the Gala. There are so many people to thank, including our sponsors and guests, our small but mighty team of volunteers, the many local business and residents that donated items for both live and silent auctions, as well as those who donated of their time or services. 

As many of you may know, the operational costs for hospitals in Ontario are supported through government funding, but for the most part, capital costs - including essential equipment - are not. These costs are almost entirely supported through community donations, which is why events like the Gala are so important.
