On November 15, 2026, the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation will be hosting a Christmas High Tea at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex, held in memory of a very dear friend of the Foundation, Brenda Meyer. Brenda hosted her very first High Tea last year, and we are both honoured and pleased to carry on this tradition in her memory.

The Tea is scheduled to run from 12:30-3:30pm on November 15th, and will include a traditional high tea service complete with sandwiches and scones, plenty of delicious tea cakes and desserts. and of course a selection of teas and other beverages. Also on offer will be a limited auction and seasonal music, not to mention a great deal of good company and festive cheer.

Tickets for this event are $75 per person. To reserve your ticket(s) today, please contact the Foundation office at 519-323-2210 x77711 or x77701, or by email to [email protected]. We do gently encourage you to contact us sooner rather than later if you are considering joining us, as there is limited seating available for this event, and a number of tickets have already been claimed.

If you would like to support our Christmas High Tea through sponsorship, as a volunteer, or through the donation of an auction item, please contact LMH Foundation Executive Director, Amy Van Huss, at [email protected] or 519-323-2210 x.77711.

For a fourth year running, Young’s Home Hardware and Building Centre in Mount Forest has sponsored the Hometown Hockey Hospital Fundraiser in benefit of the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.

For each goal scored by Mount Forest’s local Junior C hockey team, the Mount Forest Patriots, Young’s Home Hardware and Building Centre pledged to donate $50 to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation. This fundraiser typically runs from the first game of the season, right through regular season and including any playoff games.

At the close of the 2025-2026 season, the Pats had racked up a total of 186 goals to make for a donation of $9300... and Young's Home Hardware very generously decided to top up this gift to an incredible $10,000! They've also decided to direct their gift in support of the LMH Foundation's Gala's fundraising goal and we could not be more excited! We are so grateful for the continued partnership and support of Marty and Joanne and the team at Young's Home Hardware. We appreciate you! And of course, we appreciate the Pats too, for scoring all those goals.
